Lamar CISD opens two specialized learning campuses
Lamar CISD opened its Career and Technical Education Center and Bright Futures Academy before the 2026–27 school year. The CTE Center serves students from all seven district high schools with career programs, industry equipment, and certification opportunities. Bright Futures Academy serves nearly 90 families through a smaller setting that combines academics, specialized support, therapy, and community partners.
